Sexy Samba On The Costa |
|
|
Latin fever is set to hit the Costa Blanca as talented Brazilian dancer
Monica has recently returned to Spain and brought some top Brazilian
entertainment with her. Specialising in the sexy Samba, Monica’s family Samba Shows are full of
rhythm, colour and vibrancy and are ideal entertainment for restaurants, family
bars and fiestas. Bringing a little Latin feeling into you heart, you really do feel like
joining in and dancing and if Monica’s shows, or watching too much of the recent
BBC hit Strictly Come Dancing, has left you with your feet tapping, Monica is
ready and available to give samba lessons on a one to one basis or to groups.
She has eight years experience performing in Brazilian Dance Shows around the
world, ranging from lead dancer for the Dance Troops in Sao Paulo and Rio De
Janeiro; performing at the Ritz Hotel, Lisbon and with the Phoenix Dance Troop
in Germany to teaching in La Escala de Rio de Janeiro. Watch out for her fantastic show at a location near you or to book or for

The Kingsbury Academy of Dance,
performing arts school offers fantastic classes with fully qualified teachers.
Principal of the school Ruth Kingsbury has a BA Hons Theatre Dance Degree from
the London Studio Centre specialising in Contemporary dance and a Diploma in
Classical Ballet Teaching with the British Ballet Organisation. Ruth is a fully
registered teacher with the British Ballet Organisation and is a professional
dancer, singer and actress and performs regularly in professional theatres in
the Costa Blanca.
Weekly classes on offer with the
Kingsbury Academy of Dance for all ages starting from 3 years of age include
Ballet, Streetdance, Tap, Contemporary, Commercial, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre,
Jazz, Breakdancing, modern, gymnastics, Pilates and Castings for TV and Film
productions. Adult classes are also available.
Students gain confidence taking
exams with the BBO in Classical ballet, Modern and Tap. These examinations are
QCA recognised with less formal examinations offered in freestyle exams in all
other styles of dance and Musical Theatre.
Annual stage full scale theatre
productions give pupils confidence and a sense of
achievement.
