10. The Banks also ask us to make sure that you understand that if you choose a property you will need to make a 10% deposit to the bank.
11. The Banks also ask us to make sure that you understand that properties in Spain carries VAT (ie IVA) and that, plus other legal fees etc. will come to approximately 10-12% of the price of the property.
12. Proof of Income.  All potential clients need to bring with them to Spain proof of income ie a wage slip such as a last P60 and last 3 months wages.   For Retired Persons, they would also need to bring with them a Bank Statement showing a regular income going in to their acccount.  Self employed people will need to bring with them details of income going though their Bank, and Accountants end of the last year Statement. Last 2 years Tax Returns and Last 2 years Profit & Loss Balance.
