THE HOUSE
Our two bedroomed house is set in a block of four and is situated in the Playa Flamenca
area, a residential area a mile from the Flamenca Beach which has been awarded
the European Blue Flag, and three miles south of the town of Torrevieja.
It is easily accessible via coastal route N332 from Alicante Airport (25 miles)
or Javier (Murcia) Airport (15 miles).
The property consists of ground floor a large lounge with dining area, fully
fitted kitchen and shower room. The first floor offers the master bedroom with
double bed and large balcony, a second bedroom with two single beds and a
bathroom. Stairs lead from the first floor to the roof top sun terraces. Outside
at ground level there is a tiled porch area outside the front door and a tiled
area leading to an off road parking.
The community swimming pool is just down the road.
There is a supermarket by the exit from route N332, a mile away from the house.
The nearest beach, Playa Flamenca, is small, but within two miles are beaches at
La Zenia, Punta Prima and the much-photographed Cabo Roig beach and harbour.
Torrevieja is a bustling Spanish town with many shops, a long promenade, parks
and museums, and an International marina. On Fridays there is a huge street
market, the largest in southern Spain: stock up here on fruit and vegetables
from the nearby Segura Valley, which is Spain's market garden.
Parking is not usually difficult, except in July and August, the Spanish holiday
season, when Torrevieja town is probably best avoided completely.
