Mijas Bowls Club is located just north of the popular resort, Fuengirola, just 10 mins. from  Mijas, famous for narrow Andalucian streets and Mule Taxis. The club was bought out by the members in October 2001, one of the results of which was a new Verde Sports carpet being laid. In October 2002, major parts of the clubhouse were completely renovated and modernised. 2005 saw an extension of the clubhouse area, a completed new bar and kitchen, covered terrace and a new changing room.

MIJAS LAWN BOWLS CLUB.

The following fees were approved at the Annual General Meeting and will become effective from 1^st October 2008.

JOINING FEE.             Applicable to all full members.                               130 €

SUBSCRIPTIONS:     FULL.                           Annual                         260 €

                     FULL.                           6 Months                     195 €

                     TEMPORARY.             3 months                      135 €

                              TEMPORARY               1 month,                       50 €

                              JUNIOR.                       (Prices on application)

                              SOCIAL.                       Annual.                         50 €

“Fees should be received by the treasurer within 7 days of commencing bowling activities or by 31st October whichever is the sooner.”

FEDERATION FEE:

Every member requiring federation membership must positively OPT INTO the scheme and at that time will be charged 50% of the “Corporate Membership” fee.

TYPES OF MEMBERSHIP.

“Full membership of the club is for a period of 12 or 6 calendar months. A full member may change from a 6 month to a 12 month membership or vice versa.”

“ Temporary membership is offered for periods of one and three months. Temporary members will be entitled to use all services and facilities of the club but will have neither voice nor vote at General assembly meetings. Temporary members are not eligible for selection for the club league teams and are not entitled to play in club internal competitions.
