I had great fun reminiscing and I hope they bring you fond memories of
the times too.
Tony Lincoln entertains
in his own inimitable way.
He has become one of
Torrevieja's favourite act. This tall man from the
West Midlands has brought his own brand of
entertainment to Spain, and people love him.
It's hard to describe his
act as you never know what you are going to get, it
all depends on the audience. He would have made a
great Butlins redcoat in the same vein as Shane
Richie and the like.

can see everyone enjoying themselves.
A great night was had by all when Tony Lincoln was
entertaining at The Final Whistle (Consum area) on La
Marina urbanisation. It was time for the **Lads** to do
their bit for the evening and it looks like they
certainly enjoyed themselves. Well Done Guys
The Costa Blanca Band, Shadoogie are a good time band,
playing the sounds of the shadows and the best of rock and roll. Each
member of the band has over forty years experience playing in bands,
appearing on the same bill as Adam Faith; Johnny Kid; The Swinging Blue
Jeans; Wayne Fontana and the Searchers to name just a few.
South African born Bob is Shadoogie’s lead guitarist. Bob started his
musical apprenticeship at the tender age of fourteen, influenced by
Cliff Gallop, Gene Vincent’s guitarist. Bob toured intensively around
the UK and Germany, playing at some of the best venues as a solo
performer and also in a group.
Bob gave up performing and decided to move to Spain in 2003. A natural
performer, within a year Bob dusted off his guitars and started playing
again. He formed the band ‘Freeway’and three years later he wanted a
change and formed Shadoogie.
On base guitar and vocals, Irving started his musical career in the late
50’s, influenced by Elvis, Cliff Richard and The Shadows, he built his
own base guitar and was the first to play bass guitar with the Rock and
Roll group the Electrons. In 1966, his band the X’Calibers won the NME
‘All Britan Beat Group Competition’ and toured England and France
playing every USAF base. He later joined a trio in the north east of
England, playing in selected night clubs and backing such artists as
Bert Weedon; The Dallas Boys and Des O’Connor. Irving moved to Spain
in 2005 and is now enjoying further success with Shadoogie.

On Rhythm Guitar and on keyboards, Tim is a Yorkshire born music
fanatic. His interest in Music was intensified when Tom’s father
replaced the family’s TV with a piano, in the belief that television was
too much of a distraction. Tim learned to play the piano by ear and
later in life gained many qualifications on Music theory and classical
guitar. Performing up and down the UK, Tim received great success in his
band Total Recall (Later re-named Tardis). After moving to Spain, Tim
soon met Bob and Irving and together they formed Shadoogie.
Michael sings the much loved songs from
Neil Diamond, Roy Orbison and many others, culminating in his tribute
to “The King” ... Elvis Presley

Sunflower Duo are Mark and Carla Farrow, they met in 1995 when Mark joined the show band Carla was working with and have basically been joined at the hip and then later, the alter!
15 years later and the duo are stronger than ever, working all over the south east of England, Dubai, Ibiza, Germany and Holland and finally
settling in the mountains of mainland Spain,
Sunflower duo can be found playing regular spots at the La Zenia Hotel, Paddy’s Point, Abbey tavern, The stray sod, The Celtic drop and many other venues in the Costa Blanca and love this area of Spain so much they intend to be around for a long time yet!

We personally went to see him at Casa Ventura - San Luis last Friday (11th Feb 2011) for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed hearing him sing. Many of the audience were up dancing and it was an excellent evening. So, if you do see Red Strokes advertised, you just have to go along........Don´t forget your

STEWART VINCENT moved to the Costa Blanca a few months ago and has been entertaining in Benidorm and many venues in the North and South Costa Blanca.
The songs he sings are a varied mix and can suit all tastes and ages
from the 1940’s right through to the 1990’s. Prior to coming over to
Spain he worked in the clubs and pubs in the North East of England as
part of a duo, then for the past four years as a solo artiste.
Stewart Vincent brings you a Twentieth Century Tribute for such artistes as The Drifters, The Temptations, The Real Thing, Tom Jones, Del Shannon, Bobby Vee,Queen, Barry White and many more.

TRANTERS FOLLY
This popular West Country folk group consisting of Roger Trim,
Eddie Trim and Nick Thomas are all versatile instrumentalists
and vocalists having performed at a variety of venues. They have
wide experience in presenting Concerts, Barn Dances and West Country
Evenings. They also offer a series of specialised "Thomas
Hardy" concerts.
From Olympia to the Dartmouth Regatta, from village halls to theatres
"Tranters Folly" have delighted audiences with their

time to rehearse this number, but it went down extremely well with the
audience
of some 500 people.

THE SLAM BLUES BAND are one
of the most energetic original blues bands currently appearing on the
Costa del Sol live music circuit. Chas Burnett along with Matt Green
& Chris James bring together a wealth of experience from years of
working in different areas of the entertainment business, but come
together collectively to produce a great tight sound, and varied
repertoire of their own original songs intermingled with classic blues
tracks, based on the traditional Chicago style blues. For personal
reasons they have recently re-named the band. Their first CD has just
been released with 12 original tracks written by Chas.
Over the past two years they have been building up a following around
Andalucia, with live concerts at Blues venues and festivals, proving
popular with all different nationalities. Their stage performance is
suitable for small club or large concert venues.
The release of their first CD 'Blues It Up!' has from the UK written
blues press been well received and various radio stations around the
world have been playing tracks. It has also been picked up by internet
and blues shows in other parts of Europe and the US
